Home Town: Sunset Beach, Oahu
Born on April 28, 1991 in Honolulu, HI, Coco comes from one of the premiere surfing bloodlines of Hawaii. Her father, Michael, has won the Hawaiian Triple Crown, the Pipe Masters and the Duke Classic. Her uncle, Derek, was the 1993 ASP World Champion. So Coco had a good foundation when she decided to compete in surfing at a world-class level. She leveraged her support, genes and personal passion into winning the ASP Womens World Qualifying Series in 2009. Today she competes on the ultra competitive and talent-filled ASP Womens World Tour where she currently sits in the top ten so watch out for this young Hawaiian sensation in the next couple of years!
